Christmas is all over, done and dusted for another year. We wish we could say the same for our turkey. We’ve got so much left over that we’ve had to start sprinkling it over our muesli every morning just to use it up. I blame Daughter Gifts. She waited until Christmas lunch to announce that she’d become a fruitarian. I threw the cranberry sauce at her and let her get on with it.
Anyway, we exchanged some lovely Christmas presents and Christmas gifts in the morning. Mr Gifts got me this super Me To You Bear Looking for Love figurine. Looking for love indeed, I thought. I once caught him looking at a dating website. Looking for floozies, more like. We’re back on track now though, so I got Mr Gifts a great present for him – this Mini Remote Control Speed Boat Inflatable Challenge.
Mr Gifts played the speed boat game nearly all day, leaving me free to enjoy the Queen’s speech over a mince pie and a bottle of meths… sorry, sherry. I mean sherry.
